The search for a new Robert Langdon is almost over, according to the co-creator of Netflix's upcoming series. Carlton Cuse revealed that the team is finalizing the casting for the lead role in the adaptation of Dan Brown's novel "The Secret of Secrets."

Cuse, speaking with ScreenRant, said the announcement is imminent. "I think we're soon going to announce who's going to be taking over as Robert Langdon in that franchise," he said. He confirmed the show will be an eight-episode version of the latest Langdon story for Netflix, adding, "We're getting close [to confirming the lead]."
