Tom Hanks Spotted Leaving Taylor Swift's Wedding With a Legendary Plus-One

What's better than a ride home from a wedding? Sharing it with a Beatle. Tom Hanks was photographed after attending Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's wedding in New York City on July 3, and he wasn't alone. The 69-year-old actor was seen sitting in the back seat of a town car alongside music legend Paul McCartney, according to photos published by E! News.

Hanks looked dapper in a classic black suit as he exited the festivities, which reportedly included around 1,000 guests. While his wife, Rita Wilson, wasn't pictured with him at that moment, he was in iconic company. The wedding itself was a who's who of celebrities, with guests including Selena Gomez, Jessica Alba, Ed Sheeran, Dakota Johnson, and many of Travis Kelce's Kansas City Chiefs teammates.

Hanks's appearance at the ceremony ties back to a recent professional collaboration. Both he and Swift worked on the upcoming Toy Story 5, with Hanks reprising his role as Woody and Swift recording a new song for the film titled "I Knew It, I Knew You." The actor, who has been married to Rita Wilson for 38 years, even offered some lighthearted marriage advice for the newlyweds in a recent interview. "The man must make the waffles on Sunday," he exclusively told E! News at a premiere on June 9.

When asked about Swift's contribution to the film, Hanks humorously noted the secrecy surrounding the project. "We were told the day it came out. They don't trust us, and there is a brain trust that goes along that I am not a part of. So, I just do what I'm told," he said.

For Swift, it seems the collaboration was a childhood dream realized. "I’ve always dreamed of getting to write for these characters who I’ve adored since I was a 5 year old kid watching the first Toy Story movie," she wrote in a June 1 Instagram post. She added that she "fell instantly in love with Toy Story 5" after an early screening and wrote her song immediately afterward.
