Hatebreed has officially launched the music video for their new single, "Kill Count Increase," and announced their upcoming studio album. According to multiple outlets including NextMosh and The Mosh Network, the band's ninth full-length, titled Fatal Paradox, is set to arrive on November 6, 2026, via BLKIIBLK.
The release marks the Connecticut metalcore act's first studio album in six years, following 2020's Weight of the False Self. Longtime producer Zeuss, known for his work with Rob Zombie and Shadows Fall, returned to helm the project.
What is the new album's tracklist?
The 11-track album includes the title track "Fatal Paradox" and features a notable guest appearance. Obituary vocalist John Tardy contributes to the song "Sacrifice Season." The record closes with a cover of Corrosion of Conformity's "Poison Planet." The full tracklist, as reported by the outlets, runs in order from the lead single through the closing cover.
What did the band say about the new single?
Frontman Jamey Jasta offered a direct description of "Kill Count Increase" in a statement carried by antiMusic and BraveWords. "'Kill Count Increase' is the lead track on 'Fatal Paradox' and a perfect way of summing up our first album in six years from the start," Jasta said. "It's straightforward, in-your-face Hatebreed. Fast. Hard. It gets down to business and comes up for air two-and-a-half minutes later."
The official music video for the single was co-directed by Tom Flynn and Mike Watts. The band has already been testing the track live, making it a fixture in their recent concert sets.
Where is Hatebreed touring?
The announcement comes as Hatebreed is actively on the road. They are currently wrapping up the first leg of this year's Summer Slaughter Tour. A second, longer leg kicks off in August, featuring support from Terror, Incantation, Gates To Hell, Torture, and Creeping Death. The band also has standalone festival appearances scheduled, including shows with Slayer and Turnstile, and a stop at the Gathering Of The Juggalos in August.
Following the North American run, Hatebreed will head to Europe in November for a tour with Life Of Agony, playing dates across Poland, Germany, Belgium, and more.
With pre-orders now live, Fatal Paradox represents the next chapter for a band that has been a dominant force in hardcore and metal for nearly three decades.
