Gracie Abrams has released her third studio album, Daughter From Hell. The 16-song collection, which arrived on July 17, 2026, is the singer-songwriter's follow-up to 2024's The Secret of Us.
According to Rolling Stone, the album features the previously released singles "Hit the Wall" and "Look at My Life." The National's Aaron Dessner, who also produced Abrams's first two albums, helmed the new project. The tracklist includes notable writing contributions from Justin Vernon of Bon Iver and Abrams's partner, actor Paul Mescal, who cowrote the song "Imaginary Friend."
What has Abrams said about the album?
In a statement to The Hollywood Reporter, Abrams called Daughter From Hell her favorite work. "It's definitely my favorite music I've ever made, and I feel very closely connected to it," she said. She described the album as a time capsule of her current life.
During a recent Spotify conversation with friend Olivia Rodrigo, Abrams discussed the album's themes. "When I've tried to write about it before, it kind of diminishes what it actually feels like. But that [song] is super real for me," she said of the track "Afflictions." She also noted a more nuanced approach to writing about difficult relationships. "I was careful about writing about conflict and pain from less of a place of pointing fingers and more so of having been on both sides," she stated.
Is there a tour for the new album?
Yes. Abrams will launch the Look at My Life Tour later this year. Abrams expressed her excitement for the live shows in a social media post following the announcement, writing, "We're baaaaaack!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I HAVE MISSED YOU AND I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!"
