Director Joseph Kahn, who attended the lavish ceremony at Madison Square Garden in New York City Friday, posted a blunt statement on X. "Every picture I've seen of the wedding is fake. Trust me, AI would break if you tried to prompt it," he wrote, according to Page Six.

Kahn is a trusted insider. He has worked with Swift on some of her most popular music videos, including "Bad Blood," "Blank Space," and "Look What You Made Me Do." He was at the event with his wife, Lotte, and shared a genuine snapshot from the celebration on his Instagram.

The photo showed part of the venue's pink decor. His caption read: "Had a wonderful time at Taylor Swift/Travis Kelce's wedding last night." He also noted meeting Steven Spielberg and Kate Capshaw, calling it a "lifelong dream achieved."

Kahn offered a glimpse of the atmosphere, writing: "What I will say about the wedding was it was so much funnier and emotional than expected, and as big as it was, it also felt very intimate." He added, "And yes, literally everyone was there. I told Lotte many times it was like living in the internet, and AI would crack if it tried to render it."

His comments suggest the event was so uniquely grand and personal that AI image generators would struggle to replicate it authentically. This directly challenges the validity of numerous photos circulating online that claim to depict the ceremony.

The wedding itself was a confirmed, star-studded affair. Pink signs outside MSG after the event read, "JUST T MARRIED!" Page Six reported the celebration included guests like Brad Pitt.

Kahn's call-out serves as a public reminder: in an era of rampant AI-generated content, even the most viral images from a global event can be complete fabrications. For now, the only verified visuals seem to be the ones shared by actual attendees.
