For years, Angie Katsanevas and Shawn Trujillo were a fixture of 'The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City,' their long marriage a central part of her story. Now, that story has ended. The couple has split after nearly 30 years of marriage, according to multiple media reports first published by Page Six. The news comes just weeks after what would have been their 27th wedding anniversary.

Eagle-eyed fans noted Angie, 52, did not post a tribute for the milestone this year, a departure from her usual tradition. In June 2025, she marked their 26th anniversary with a sweet Instagram post recalling how they met: she booked a blow-dry appointment with the "dreamy guy" she saw on a romance novel cover at the grocery store. "A Hair Affair🤍🤍🤍 #26YEARS," she wrote.

Social Media Clues

Speculation about trouble began months earlier. In January 2025, Shawn, 55, addressed fans who noticed he had followed divorce coaches on social media. "After all the assumptions and continued speculation, much like the statement I’ve made on the previous issue, I am compelled to defend who I’ve followed on social media. This has nothing to do with Angie," he told Reality Shrine. "I simply have someone close to me going through a rough time," he added. "This person sends me pages with thoughts and info on what they are going through. It’s as simple as that. Nothing more nothing less. I understand we are in the public eye."

The couple, who co-founded the Lunatic Fringe hair salon and share a 15-year-old daughter, Elektra, have weathered public rumors before. During season 4 of RHOSLC, Shawn denied allegations of infidelity.
