The influencer framed the decision with her signature self-deprecating humor. "The internet has successfully bullied me," Nogueira admitted in the video, "into getting rid of this hair."

She elaborated on the strong reaction, noting, "I have never received such a negative reaction to a hair color until this." While she maintained a personal fondness for the lighter look—"Personally, I think the blonde’s kind of cute, especially in the summer"—she conceded to the popular opinion. "I just know—and we all know—there are better hair colors for me."

According to her video, she stated, "This is my final form," and reportedly said she loved it, thought it was very pretty, and that it wasn't as harsh as black but had enough dimension to feel like her, adding that her natural hair was fried.
