Man Crashes Car Into Beyoncé and Jay-Z's Hamptons Security Gate
The crash caused significant damage to the security checkpoint, but investigators found no weapons, notes, or direct threats made by the suspect.

A Subaru drove at a high rate of speed up the driveway toward the closed mechanical gate at Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s Georgica Pond property in the East Hamptons. It did not stop.
Police released a report on Friday, July 17, detailing the Wednesday, July 15, incident and the arrest of Keith Webster, a 63-year-old Bronx resident, per Us Weekly. A security guard witnessed the crash, which caused "significant damage" to the checkpoint. Webster was later charged with second degree criminal mischief and third degree criminal trespass.
A Puzzling Scene
When police arrived, Webster was restrained and sitting in front of his vehicle. "He wasn’t making threats. He seemed confused," Detective Sgt. Jennifer Dunn told The East Hampton Star. Webster complained of pain and was taken to a nearby hospital before being released for arraignment. His vehicle was impounded.
Detective Sgt. Dunn noted the matter is under investigation. "This could be a health issue but we have to treat it as a crime until proven otherwise," she clarified. Police traced Webster's route via license plate readers and found he had stopped at another home in the area beforehand. According to a detective's statement, he reportedly had "no criminal history" and there were "no weapons found, no notes found, no direct threats made and no direct mention of residents of the house."
Us Weekly has reached out to their representatives for comment.
