During a fan event ahead of the British Grand Prix on Thursday, July 2, broadcaster David Croft set the stage, telling the 41-year-old racer, "Lewis, on the track and off the track, you are a much happier man this year, and for everyone here, that is great to see." One of Hamilton's fellow drivers then asked the million-dollar question: "Is that because it’s a fast car or a new girlfriend?" As the crowd laughed, Hamilton smiled and replied, "Yeah, that’s a good one."

He went on to praise his team, which appears to be Ferrari, calling it "the most iconic team of all time" and noting their "difficult period." He added, "It’s such an amazing team and they’ve been so welcoming. The first year was obviously very tough but to finally see the hard work we’re all putting in, it’s finally get us back to where we want to be."

Then came the confirmation. Hamilton ended his remarks by saying, "And of course, of course, it’s Kim." The comment directly credited the 45-year-old reality star, Kim Kardashian, for his improved mood, confirming their romantic link in a public forum.

The couple first sparked dating rumors when they were seen attending a New Year’s Eve party in Aspen earlier this year. Since then, they've been spotted together in Paris in February, as well as in Japan and New York City. Last month, Kardashian was in attendance at the F1 Grand Prix of Monaco to support Hamilton, where the pair shared some sweet PDA after he came in second place.
