Justin and Hailey Bieber Drop $12 Million on a West Village Nest

Are the Biebers officially a New York family? The couple just made a major investment in the city, purchasing a $12 million condominium in Manhattan's West Village.

The Wall Street Journal confirmed the purchase on July 7, citing property records. The new home boasts roughly 2,800 square feet, four bedrooms, and four and a half bathrooms. Floor-to-ceiling windows offer views of the Hudson River, and the unit features a chef's kitchen and a primary bathroom with a marble soaking tub and heated floors. The building itself comes loaded with amenities: a private garage, a 70-foot pool, a fitness room, and a Pilates studio—though wellness guru Hailey Bieber recently told TIME that Pilates is "a little over."

The move seems to signal a shift toward a more family-oriented lifestyle for the couple. The building features a children's clubhouse and a catering kitchen with a lounge for private events, perfect for large family gatherings.

While Justin and Hailey Bieber have been primarily based in Los Angeles for their six-year marriage—owning properties in Beverly Hills and La Quinta, as well as in Canada—they previously had a temporary residence in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. This purchase suggests they're putting down more permanent roots on the East Coast.

The West Village is a star-studded enclave. For the Biebers part, a significant part of their love story took place in New York, too. In fact, Hailey noted that Justin helped her with furnishing her first New York apartment.

E! News reached out to reps for the Biebers for additional comment but has not yet heard back.
