What's next for Bunnie Xo after her split from Jelly Roll? A college degree, for starters. The podcast host and influencer has been accepted into Arizona State University, she revealed on Instagram Stories on July 3, writing over a screenshot of the acceptance message, "Dr. Xo, loading?"

This new chapter comes weeks after Jelly Roll (born Jason Deford) filed for divorce from Bunnie (real name Alisa DeFord) on May 18 in Tennessee, following a May 9 breakup. The pair had been married since 2016. On her podcast, Bunnie admitted that "it's been hell" trying to keep their private life under wraps and said, "I am so relieved that the f--king news is out, 'cause holy s--t."

But while their romance is over, their partnership is not. In a remarkable twist, Bunnie confirmed on her June 18 podcast episode that they plan to continue their IVF journey and co-parent. She said, "That's my f--king best friend, dude. Like, I love him," and added, "And you guys are going to be shocked to hear this, but we're still having a baby. We have been the most unconventional couple that you guys have ever encountered." She further noted, "We're going to co-parent together."

It seems both are exploring new phases. According to E! News, Bunnie said on her podcast that Jelly Roll has started dating again. "Has my husband started dating? Yes, he has—and we're happy for him," she said. It seems she is also excited to discover herself single. She emphasized their split concluded on the best possible terms, stating that he has always been her best friend and she loves that man more than life itself.

Bunnie did not specify what she will study at Arizona State University. The couple, who tied the knot in 2016, are navigating this post-divorce life as determined future co-parents of a child they still hope to have together.
