Did Catie's Birthday Party Antics Push Josh Too Far?

How many 'sorries' does it take before a promise loses all meaning? On Sunday's episode of "90 Day Fiancé," Josh finally gave his fiancée Catie the "tough love" a friend suggested, confronting her about her embarrassing behavior at her own birthday party.

The trigger was a scene from the previous week's episode, as reported by Page Six. Catie got drunk at her party and "aggressively tried to kiss multiple male friends, who all turned her down." Josh watched awkwardly until a friend, Mark, pulled him aside.

In the follow-up episode, Catie, throwing up in the bathroom, claimed she didn't remember anything. Josh wasn't having it. He informed her she was "literally trying to make out with anything that moves." Catie apologized, but Josh pointed out this was a recurring issue she'd previously blamed on obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) when drunk.

"Sorry stops meaning anything after a while," Josh told her. "You hear enough sorries and you want to see action." When he asked what she thinks about when she tries to kiss others, Catie replied that she thinks she can love him but also want to kiss everyone else.

The conversation grew darker as Josh noted her friends didn't want her advances, with cameras reportedly cutting to Mark "actively pushing her face away." Catie, mortified, worried she'd crossed boundaries and lost friends. She tearfully told cameras, "I'm really ashamed about it and it's hard to talk about," and revealed she'd lost friends in the past for her actions while drinking.

Her fear of abandonment was palpable. "I will be sad if anyone abandons me," she said. "I worry all the time that I'll lose Josh, and I'm worried I'll push them away by my actions."

Josh laid out his ultimatum. "I want to see that you really know what that means and that you see the commitment I'm making to you. I want to feel it in return," he said. "And it's kind of up to you to figure out how to do that." He later confessed his own turmoil to the cameras: "I love Catie and that that's why it's so difficult to understand what's going on. Like it seems like I either need to tolerate this in order to love her or or I walk away."

The episode confirmed a painful rift, but left the couple's future hanging in the balance. Can Catie's apologies turn into lasting change, or has Josh reached his breaking point?
