Power:: Origins Drops First Look at Young Ghost and Tommy

Starz has released first-look images and an early teaser for its upcoming prequel series, Power:: Origins, according to Variety. The images introduce the actors playing younger versions of the franchise's iconic duo.

Spence Moore will play James "Ghost" St. Patrick, while Charlie Mann will portray Tommy Egan. Mekai Curtis will reprise his role as the young Kanan Stark in the series, which is currently in production in New Jersey.

Who is playing young Ghost and Tommy?

Spence Moore, known for roles in Creed III and All American, steps into the role of Ghost, originally played by Omari Hardwick. Charlie Mann, from Primate and The Watchers, takes on the part of Tommy, a character Joseph Sikora made famous. The series will tell their origin stories as "ambitious young entrepreneurs on the rise, determined to make their mark on the streets of New York City," per Starz.

The show is the fourth spinoff in the expanding Power: universe. It received an 18-episode order and is produced by Lionsgate Television for Starz. Power:: Origins was created by Courtney A. Kemp, who created the original Power: series, and Sascha Penn. Penn, who created and ran Power: Book III: Raising Kanan, will serve as showrunner and executive producer.

Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson executive produces under his G-Unit Film and Television banner. Mark Canton, Chris Selak, Kevin Fox, and Pete Chatmon, who is set to direct six episodes, also serve as executive producers.
