The two actors will take on significant recurring roles in the eight-episode adaptation of the cult Image Comics title. Lee is set to play Detective Franklin, while Mani will portray a character named Lucy.

They join previously announced leads Imogen Poots and John Reynolds, who play the central couple Suze and Jon. The ensemble also includes Pamela Adlon, BD Wong, Ayden Mayeri, and Ashleigh Cummings. Kumail Nanjiani, who co-created the series with Emily V. Gordon and Tze Chun, will also appear in a recurring role.
