Barstool Sports Team Scores Zero in 'Celebrity Family Feud' Flop

Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy and his employees scored zero points in a recent episode of Celebrity Family Feud, according to multiple outlets. The team was soundly defeated by NBA prospect Cooper Flagg and his family.

The final score was 543-0, a result described by The Big Lead as potentially "the best final score we've ever seen in any competition." The Barstool team consisted of Portnoy, former NHL player Ryan Whitney, Rico Bosco, Kirk Minihane, Jersey Jerry, and Stu Feiner.

What happened during the game?

The team's performance was marked by several viral missteps. When host Steve Harvey asked for "name something a player probably has that a regular guy might not," Portnoy immediately responded with a crude, two-word answer. Harvey was forced to apologize to Flagg's mother on air.

In another face-off on the same question, Ryan Whitney froze after buzzing in, failing to give any answer. "He froze, my guy hasn’t moved in 40 minutes," the Barstool Sports X account later posted. Whitney acknowledged his performance afterward, saying, "I mean I didn’t have high expectations for myself personally, but I could have at least chucked out an answer."

Were there any successful moments?

One answer did manage to score, albeit minimally. When asked what to do if a TSA dog runs toward you, Kirk Minihane replied, "I’d do what I always do, Steve. Try and hide the drugs." The flabbergasted host found the answer was worth two points, placing seventh on the board. Minihane celebrated by repeatedly yelling, "You can’t teach what I got."

Despite the shutout, Harvey remained professional. "That got ugly real fast," he said, while reassuring the Barstool team that a donation would still be made to their chosen charity.
