Avatar: Seven Havens Sets October 9 Premiere Date on Paramount+

The announcement was made during a Comic-Con panel for the upcoming film Avatar Aang: The Last Airbender.

The streamer also released a teaser for the show, which marks the first new series set in the animated world of Avatar: The Last Airbender in over a decade. The series comes from original creators Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko.

What is Avatar: Seven Havens about?

The series is set well after the events of The Legend of Korra. It centers on a young Earthbender who discovers she's the new Avatar, but that title "marks her as humanity’s destroyer, not its savior," according to the show's logline. Hunted by both human and spirit enemies, she and her long-lost twin must uncover their mysterious origins to save the Seven Havens before civilization's last strongholds collapse.

Who is in the cast and crew?

The voice cast includes Saheli Khan, Aishu Devan, Akshay Khanna, Major Curda, Sakina Jaffrey, Darren Barnet, Dianne Doan and Dee Bradley Baker. DiMartino and Konietzko executive produce with Ethan Spaulding, and Sehaj Sethi serves as co-executive producer. Nickelodeon and its Avatar Studios are producing the series.

Avatar: Seven Havens scored a series order in February 2025. It will premiere 21-plus years after the debut of the original Avatar: The Last Airbender and 12 years after the end of The Legend of Korra.
